The WEEE Directive (2012/19/EU) makes what happens to your electrical and electronic products at end of life part of your responsibility as a manufacturer. It applies to manufacturers and importers selling electrical/electronic products into the EU market. In most EU countries, products can't legally be placed on the market without producer registration; we own the registration, marking, and reporting process, so you can focus on the product.

Do I need to register for WEEE separately in every country?
Yes, most EU countries require registration at the national level individually. We manage this on your behalf based on which markets you sell into.
Does equipment sold B2B also fall under WEEE?
In most cases, yes, depending on the product category. Electrical/electronic equipment sold to businesses, not just consumers, is generally in scope too.
Where and how should I apply the WEEE symbol?
The symbol should primarily go on the product itself; if that's not technically feasible, it goes on the packaging or the manual. There are specific rules on size and visibility, which we apply together with you.
